The essential question in Mrs. Tatum's reading class has been focused on "How can problem solving lead to new ideas?"
Students have read several stories about how people used problem solving to create new inventions.
Today students problem solved how to create bridges using a single piece of paper, glue, and scissors. The challenge was that they had to make their bridge as long as possible, and it had to have a floor & sides.
Through problem solving and creativity, there were several creative designs!
